Founded by Mr. Suresh G. Shinde, SOKIM Electricals and Engineering Works has grown into a trusted name in industrial machinery with 27+ years of experience and more than 700 machines delivered. Our team of 20 skilled professionals designs, builds, and installs machines across three manufacturing units in Thane and Chakan, Pune — the heart of India's automotive manufacturing belt.

Insulation materials behave nothing like sheet metal. Thinsulate, needle-punched felt and non-woven fabric are lofty and fibrous — a tool designed for steel will crush, fray or drag them. Our sealing and cutting tools are built specifically for these materials, sealing the cut edge and trimming the part in a single stroke so the component leaves the press finished.
We manufacture precision sealing and cutting tools in MS, multi cavity tools for rubber cutting, cutting and trimming tools, moulding tools, and wooden tools — all to close tolerances, and all matched to the press they run in.
Typical parts: automotive NVH insulation packs, dash insulators, hoodliners, gaskets, rubber components, luggage board trims, and packaging blanks.
Most buyers deal with one company for the press, another for the tooling, and a third for automation. We build all three, which is why the parts fit together the first time.
We manufacture hydraulic presses from 20 to 1000 tons — die spotting presses, compression moulding presses, deep draw presses, trimming presses, punching presses and hydraulic clicking presses. Options include heated beds up to 250°C, moving bolsters for fast die changeover, PLC control with recipe storage per part number, and bed sizes up to 1.8m × 3m. Every press is specified against the customer's part, not a catalogue size.
Where no standard machine exists, we design one. Our SPM and automation work includes edge raging machines for luggage boards, double gun spray gantry systems, embossing machines running 2000+ pieces per hour, auto push pin feeding machines, robo feeders, slatting machines, decoilers, coil carriers, tool carriers and spray conveyor lines. We handle the full path from concept and GA drawings through fabrication, assembly, factory trial and commissioning on your shop floor.
Single and double decker contact heating presses with beds up to 3m × 2.2m and platens up to 250°C, used for curing, laminating, composite bonding, felt work and Thinsulate processing. The double decker configuration heats one sheet while the previous one is being formed, which roughly doubles throughput without extra floor space or headcount.

We are ISO 9001:2015 certified, have been in operation since 1996, and have delivered more than 700 machines — including die spotting presses, moulding presses, trimming presses and clicking presses.
Most automobile interior and NVH forming applications use 100 to 250 ton presses. If the same press also trims or punches the part, 250 to 400 tons is typical, and heavy deep-draw work can require up to 1000 tons. Tonnage depends on projected part area and material resistance, so we specify each press against your actual part drawing rather than a catalogue size.
Yes. We manufacture precision sealing and cutting tools in MS, multi cavity rubber cutting tools, and cutting and trimming tools designed for Thinsulate insulation, needle-punched felt, non-woven fabric and rubber. The tool is matched to the press so sealing and cutting happen in a single stroke with clean, consistent edges.
